Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

When you land at Delhi Airport, your guide will meet you at the arrivals area and take you to your hotel.

If you arrive early enough, you can visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwara (Sikh house of worship). It was once the Haveli (mansion) of the eighth Sikh Gura, Guru Har Krishan, and later became a gurudwara in honor of his memory.

Approximately one thousand people visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib each day.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi and Drive to Agra

The domes and minaret of the Jama Masjid mosque

In the morning, you'll visit Old Delhi to see its ancient monuments, narrow streets, and bustling bazaars. You'll also visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. The mosque was built in 1656 by Shah Jahan, who also built the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort.

Then, you'll take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk—Old Delhi's most famous market—where you'll be able to shop for everything from saris to silver jewelry.

The tour ends at the Raj Ghat, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi.

After the tour, you'll drive to Agra, which takes about 4 to 5 hours. Once you arrive, you can check into your hotel and relax.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Agra and Drive to Jaipur

The world-famous Taj Mahal

Today you'll start off bright and early with a visit to the famous Taj Mahal. This giant white marble mausoleum was built by Shah Jahan as a symbol of love for his beloved, Mumtaz Mahal. It's a jewel of Indian architecture and is one of the most famous monuments in the world.

Then, you'll return to your hotel for breakfast. Afterward, you'll head to Agra's Red Fort, an impregnable citadel built in the middle of the 16th century. There, you'll visit marble palaces, mosques, and beautiful gardens. From the top, you'll be able to enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the Yamuna River and the Taj Mahal on the opposite shore.

In the early afternoon, your driver will take you to Jaipur (about 5 hours away).
